Hello there,
Welcome to my blog! Glad to have you on this first post.
Who am I?
I have some information about me on the About-Page but in short: my name is Suro and i am a furry from Germany who is 29 years old young 😉
I work in IT, I am interested in Technology and like to play around with it and talk about it. I also like to read and cook.
Why this blog?
Quite simple: I want a place in the internet which is “mine”. No enshittification, no engagement bait, no algorithm and if something changes then because I want to and not because the change is supposed to squeeze out more of your attention span or showing you ads.
I may have missed the time when custom MySpace sites were popular but considering how commercial / social media has developed…eh i kinda miss it?
What do i write about?
My blog is not solely focussed on a certain topic. I want to write about stuff that interests me and share it with the world when I want to. There may be a while between posts or not, who knows.
But surely i will also write about IT & Technology if thats interesting to you.
Anything else?
As you may have noticed, I am using wordpress and my aim is to use as few plugins as possible with minimal data collection. Yeah, of course I am interested in seeing where a visitor comes from, but I don’t want to collect any more data than necessary.
If you have tips and tricks for wordpress, feel free to share them with me.
Welp, that’s it.
Have a picture of my cats:
